Advertising Sales Representative

Online Account Executive

Reviewjournal.com is looking for a sales-driven professional with Internet sales experience. Use your skills and imagination to develop multiple revenue channels on our Web site. Collaborate with our print advertising division to develop new online business opportunities for current print advertisers.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of (1) year online media experience and a Bachelor's degree, with any additional sales experience a definite PLUS.

Other required skills: Facility in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point, as well as familiarity with email operations and knowledge of ad management/reporting software used in general online ad scheduling.

Candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to communicate well via email and demonstrate online products and advertising strategies on a laptop computer in the field or via email is essential.

The Morning News - Springdale, Arkansas

Seeking a full-time page designer to help us continue to be Northwest Arkansas' premier daily newspaper. The winning candidate will design pages in our news, features and sports sections while working with editors to execute design strategies. Candidates will also have the opportunity to contribute design work in special sections and other publications associated with The Morning News. The winning candidate will write eye-grabbing headlines and make decisions on how news reports are played on a page to increase impact and readership. Meeting deadlines is a must, as is experience in page design and Adobe InDesign. A basic journalism knowledge and AP style is also required. Experience in NewsEdit Pro, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are also helpful. Must work nights.

Senior Network Engineer
Network Engineer's role is to plan, direct and coordinate the design, installations and connectivity of computer and network systems to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT assets. These include all routers, firewalls, load balancers, storage, remote data replication, remote access devices, security monitors, e-mail services, telephone equipment and network switches.

Qualifications, skills, characteristics required: College diploma or University degree in the field of computer science/engineering or information systems, CCNA certification required. Ten years of IT-related experience. At least 5 years experience. Managing configuring enterprise-wide-LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc.

Videographer
Ideal candidate must have strong proficiency with Final Cut Pro and Flash development, camera shooting skills, audio editing, standard subject lighting and knowledge of After Effects and/or Motion. The ability to set up and conduct shoots in a variety of settings and with rapid turn-around time is essential. The successful candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and should feel comfortable meeting several deadlines thoughout the day.

Qualifications: A basic understanding of multimedia journalism is desired but not essential; the willingness to adapt to learn quickly is. Required skill set: Final Cut Pro, Adobe CS suite, iLife, Audacity, Quicktime Pro, After Effects.
