Advertising Sales Representative
Outstanding opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated advertising sales executive for the Hawaii Tribune-Herald in Hilo. The position requires superior time management and organizational skills, computer literacy and the ability to manage a sales territory. The successful candidate will be required to sell multiple publications and products and work with production to create advertising programs for a wide variety of clients. Previous print advertising experience strongly desired. Position would require relocation to the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Hawaii Tribune-Herald offers a generous compensation and benefit package.

Metro Editor
The Morning News in Northwest Arkansas is looking for an assigning editor to manage a group of reporters responsible for a varied array of beats, including local government and business. The reporters' work appears in The Morning News and on its Web site, nwaonline.net.

This editor will be responsible for assigning, developing and editing stories for four reporters, including some featuring audio and video components for the Web site. The editor will also budget a daily news section.

The successful applicant will have two years experience as an editor and five years experience in daily newspapers. In addition will have experience producing news stories that focus on impact and context for our readers, whether they are print subscribers or on-line readers. Familiarity with business news coverage is a plus, as is proficiency in multimedia software.

Northwest Arkansas has a population of approximately 350,000 and is located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, one of the fastest growing areas in the central south. Beaver Lake is just a few minutes away. This area is known to be great for anyone who enjoys outdoor sports. The University of Arkansas, John Brown University, and Northwest Arkansas Community College are located within this area, as is Eureka Springs. Branson, Mo., is approximately 2 hours away.
